Trying to find some Christmas spirit...

Tomorrow is one of my favorite Sundays, First of Advent. Where I come from, Sweden, first of Advent is celebrated all of the country and every window are decorated with Christmas stars, candle lights and red poinsettias. The warm and wonderful Christmas spirit fills every heart when the first candle of the four is being lighted while eating a little gingerbread cookie! 

Even though Hawaii doesn't bring the same kind of feeling of Christmas I had to try to at least try...and I made my own little advent candle holder.....I am so excited to light the first candle tomorrow....

Surf, beach and driftwood...

Since my husband is a surfer we often spend our Sundays at the beach, he surfing and I tanning or just hanging out. I love our Sundays together since the weeks are busy and filled with work, laundry, cleaning etc. But this one day a week we go to Church in the morning and then strait to beach, where we post up with our beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler with some snacks. Since i recently started to make these little purses with driftwood I always look for nice pieces of driftwood or little shells. So one of these wonderful Sundays my husband helped me pick some driftwood for the purses I am making....He is just so wonderful!

My new passion...

So after some time of making jewelry i decided it was time for a change. I started to think of other things I could create so one day I decided to try to make a little purse....It was FUN!! So now I am all into making purses.....
