Bridal bouquet with bird of paradise...challenging and rewarding!

It's about time for a new blog post...I don't know where my time has gone...
Anyways, last weekend we went to Oahu for our friends beautiful beach wedding, Sam and Rahel.
I was honored to make the brides bouquet and her dream bouquet was with her favorite flower "Bird of Paradise". I have to say I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to make the bouquet she wanted but by the grace of God and the support from my husband it worked out good. The blushing and beautiful bride cryied of happiness when she saw the bouquet. Is there a better reward than that?
Thank you Mr and Mrs Apuna for letting me be apart of your wonderful day!

Catrin, this is an amazing bouquet! I am now planning a wedding in Prague and I would love to have 'Birds of Paradise' in my bouquet. They have a very symbolic meaning to me. I talked to few florists but they were so sceptic about creating something like this. Could you maybe share some tips how to make this beautiful bouquet? Do you cut away some parts? Isn't the bouquet too heavy in your hand? Many thanks for any recommendations! Petra

Hi! I'm getting married in December in Jamaica (I'm Jamaican) and love bird of paradise. I would really love to make my own bouquet as we are making most of the decorations ourselves. Is there anyway you could give me the run down on how you did this? It's beautiful and just what I want! I would really appreciate it.

Dear Catrin,

I love this! I was looking all over youtube for HOW TO MAKE A BIRD OF PARADISE BOUQUET and I couldn't find anything.
Would you mind sending me a link or pictures of how you put this beautiful piece togethter?

My email cvp@carolinvonpetzholdt.com
